DemykoMed is a German line of foot, nail and skin care products built around clotrimazole, an antifungal active ingredient. It belongs to CareMed Products GmbH, a podiatry and foot-care supplier based in Kaufbeuren, Germany, which names DemykoMed alongside CareMed, SanaMed and Cora Fee as one of its own brands [1]. The range is small: a liquid, a nail oil, a cream and a spray, each aimed at nails and skin that the company describes as prone to fungal infection.

The brand has no website, mission statement or public history of its own. What is known about it comes almost entirely from its owner's product pages and from listings by German online pharmacies, which sell the same products to consumers. Neither its founding year nor its founders are publicly documented. The line was still on sale in 2026.

## Ownership

DemykoMed is owned by CareMed Products GmbH, whose address at Am Bleichanger 46 in Kaufbeuren is printed as the manufacturer's details on the brand's product pages [5]. The same company appears as manufacturer on independent pharmacy listings [11]. No acquisition or change of ownership has been reported, and the year in which the brand entered the company's portfolio is not known.

CareMed presents itself as a specialist wholesaler for podiatry, cosmetics and wellness. On its homepage it cites more than 20 years of experience as a trade supplier, a figure that refers to the company rather than to DemykoMed in particular. Its catalogue runs well beyond the brand: foot-care machines, scalpels and blades, treatment chairs, hygiene and disinfection supplies, waxing and lash products, and its own skin- and foot-care creams. The company describes itself as both manufacturer and specialist wholesaler, and it groups DemykoMed with its other in-house labels under a shared quality statement. In its own words, the four brands are made under strict controls, and together with selected raw-material suppliers the company stands for "Qualität Made in Germany" [1].

Within that portfolio, CareMed is the sister brand most closely tied to the owner's name. SanaMed and Cora Fee are the other house labels named on the homepage. DemykoMed is the one devoted to fungus-prone feet and nails.

## Philosophy & positioning

DemykoMed does not publish a brand philosophy, tagline or set of values. Its positioning can be read only from the way its products are described. The common thread is prevention and hygiene rather than cosmetic appearance. The liquid, for example, is introduced as "the hygiene formula" for fungus-prone nails and skin [3].

The products are framed around everyday situations in which feet come into contact with shared, damp surfaces. According to the owner, the liquid is especially suited for use after visits to saunas, swimming pools and hotel rooms, or after wearing rented shoes [3]. The spray is pitched in similar terms, with the company calling it a fast and reliable form of prevention for fungus-prone feet [6].

Each product page also carries the same intended-use labels: nail fungus (onychomycosis) and skin fungus (mycosis). The pages do not say whether the products are registered as cosmetics or as medical devices, and the pharmacy listings that carry them do not state a regulatory category either. The products are consistently described as care products that "increase the skin's resistance", rather than as treatments that cure an infection.

This prevention angle fits the owner's wider editorial interests. In May 2026 CareMed published a blog article on preventing nail fungus, covering risk factors such as diabetes, older age, tight shoes and damp socks, and the spread of spores in pools and changing rooms. The article does not mention DemykoMed by name.

## Products & innovation

The range consists of four products, sold in several sizes. All of them share clotrimazole as their central ingredient, combined with moisturising and soothing agents that vary by format.

**Nagel- und Hautschutzliquid** (nail and skin protection liquid) is a colourless, fragrance-free liquid sold in a 50 ml pipette bottle, with a larger 500 ml size also listed [3]. Its listed ingredients include isopropyl alcohol, water, urea, decylene glycol and clotrimazole. The owner says the urea and decylene glycol help the skin hold moisture and prevent it from drying out. It is applied a few drops at a time between the toes and on the toenails.

**Nagelschutzöl** (nail protection oil) comes in 15 ml and 50 ml brush bottles. It combines clotrimazole with bisabolol, vitamin E (tocopherol) and sweet almond oil [4]. The company describes it as a care complex for fungus-prone and brittle nails, meant to protect them from drying out. Unlike the liquid and the spray, the oil is described as having a pleasant scent.

**Nagel- und Hautschutzcreme** (nail and skin protection cream) is a 20 ml tube and has the longest list of highlighted ingredients in the range: clotrimazole, urea, niacinamide, bisabolol, panthenol (provitamin B5), allantoin and rosemary [5]. CareMed describes it as a care combination for fungus-prone nails and skin, and states that it is free of parabens and silicone oils.

**Hautschutzspray** (skin protection spray) is a 75 ml aerosol for the feet. Like the rest of the range it is built on clotrimazole, and the company states that it contains no dyes or fragrance [6].

The owner also sells a 24-piece counter display stocked with DemykoMed products, intended for sale at the point of purchase. This points to a model in which foot-care practices and studios resell the products to their own clients.

No patents, proprietary technologies or clinical studies are publicly attributed to the brand. Safety data sheets for the spray and the liquid are dated July 2016 and August 2019 respectively. These are document dates rather than launch dates, but they are the earliest dates attached to the line.

## Distribution

DemykoMed's sales channels appear in two forms. CareMed's own shop states that it sells "exclusively to trade customers", meaning foot-care practices, podiatrists and studios [1]. Prices for selected products on the site are shown only after a trade login.

At the same time, the products reach consumers through German online pharmacies. The pharmacy medpex lists the oil, the spray and the cream under a DemykoMed brand page [10], and aponeo carries the cream with CareMed as named manufacturer and a German pharmacy product number [11]. The two pictures do not contradict each other. The owner sells only to the trade, while the products themselves are also available at retail.

No social media accounts for the brand have been identified. No awards or press coverage of DemykoMed have been documented.

## Current status

DemykoMed is active. In October 2026 three of its four products were shown as available for immediate shipping on the owner's shop, while the 50 ml liquid was listed as temporarily unavailable [4]. The owner's site carried a 2026 copyright notice and regular blog posts through September 2026. All sales channels identified so far are German, and the brand does not appear to operate outside Germany.
