Green Light is an Italian professional haircare company based in Brescia whose products reach salons under the name LUXURY Hair Pro. A Spanish distributor describes Luxury Hair Pro as the Italian professional haircare brand created by Green Light [9], and the company's own website, greenlight.it, presents its entire range under that product name. The line covers hair colour, care, scalp treatments, professional systems and styling, with permanent colour at its centre.

Green Light belongs to BEAUTICON VALLEY® Holding, a Brescia cosmetics group formerly known as NG Group, and sits within the group's Professionhair division alongside brands such as Compagnia Del Colore, Jungle Fever and Viba Professional [8]. The brand is active, with a maintained website and current product ranges, although no dated launches or news announcements are publicly documented.

## Origin & founders

Green Light's roots are in Brescia, the northern Italian city where both its registered address and its parent group are located. The founding year and the founders of Green Light have not been publicly documented. The group that owns it has a longer history of its own, but the dates and family names attached to that history describe the group, not this particular brand.

For an outside observer, the most distinctive feature of Green Light is how rarely its own name appears. Product pages, page titles and the brand's Instagram account all use LUXURY Hair Pro, and "Green Light" shows up mainly in the web address. Distributors outside Italy nonetheless identify Green Light as the company behind the line. In practice the two names describe one business: Green Light as the maker, and LUXURY Hair Pro as the salon-facing product brand.

## Ownership

The legal entities named on the Green Light website are Beauticon Valley S.r.l. Società Benefit and Italian Group S.r.l., both registered in Brescia [2]. Società Benefit is an Italian legal form for companies; it is a corporate status, not a third-party certification.

The holding's corporate website organises its brands into two divisions, Cosmetic Tailors and Professionhair, and lists LUXURY HAIR PRO under Professionhair [8]. That division also includes 24 KERATS, NVNT, Damage Undo, Best and Beautiful, Jungle Fever, Compagnia Del Colore, Viba Professional, 21 Perfect and Unimix. The link is visible on the brand's own pages as well. Its homepage carries the line "Powered by Professionhair" and presents PROFESSIONHAIR® Milano as an entity that "collects, selects and presents to the market" a collection of professional haircare products. The contact page gives the same Brescia address as the holding, on Via R. Gessi, together with a Professionhair email address, while the legal footer lists a second Brescia address on Via Aldo Moro.

In its own description, the holding leads a network of more than 50 Italian companies, distributes its products in more than 130 countries and specialises in professional hair products, above all hair colour [8]. Those figures describe the group as a whole rather than Green Light alone. The group operated as NG Group before adopting its current name. When and how Green Light came under the group's ownership is not publicly documented.

## Philosophy & positioning

LUXURY Hair Pro is a professional line, sold for use by hairdressers rather than as a retail consumer brand. Green Light says the breadth of its range lets professional hairdressers achieve their aesthetic goals and meet the needs of their clients.

The brand's tagline is "LUXE. ELEGANCE. STYLE." Its About page frames the concept as "essentiality combined with timeless elegance, purity, brightness", and links the line to what it calls Italian style. The company pictures its customer as a woman with an urban, chic lifestyle, "where true luxury is having time for herself". The same text appears, in Italian, on the Italian-language version of the site.

Under the heading "The new luxury is nature", the company says that nature was taken as the "main guide" when the line was created, combined with science, technology, experience and know-how. According to Green Light, only that combination produces the best results in beauty, elegance, style and sustainability. The company has not published measurable sustainability targets, and no third-party certifications are documented for the brand.

## Products & innovation

The company divides LUXURY Hair Pro into five key areas: colour, care, treatments, professional systems, and styling and finishing. Colour is the largest and most detailed part of the range.

The core permanent dye is LUXURY HAIRCOLOR, a permanent colouring cream that the brand says is made without added parabens, SLS and thio, and with a low ammonia content. The homepage puts the number of permanent colour shades at 158. Around it sit oxidant creams, a dust-free bleaching powder, the Ambitious Blonde Ultra Lift bleaching powder, Color Service Potion, the Starlight anti-yellow shampoo, Precious Shadows intense direct pigments and a set of Reflex colour masks.

A second colour system, NATURAL TOUCH, is marketed as an "All Free*" permanent colouring cream. Green Light describes it as vegan and free from ammonia, resorcinol, PPD, gluten, parabens, silicones, SLES and SLS [1]. The asterisk matters: the product page words the central claim more narrowly, as colour made "without the addition of ammonia, resorcinol, and PPD". The formula is built around moringa oil and baobab extract, which the company credits with antioxidant, softening and protective properties. According to the brand, Natural Touch covers grey hair fully and can lighten hair by up to three tones. It is paired with an oxidant milk sold in three strengths: 2.5, 15 and 25 volume.

The size of the Natural Touch range is reported in two ways on the brand's own site. The homepage refers to "72 shades of All Free permanent color" [1], while the same homepage and the Natural Touch page both describe "a range of 70 shades" [6]. The itemised shade chart on the product page, which runs from naturals and ash tones through golds, coppers and reds to toners and correctors, adds up to 70. The product page also lists "Recycled & Recyclable Packaging up to 100%" among the line's attributes, without saying which products reach that figure.

## Science & innovation

Green Light presents LUXURY Hair Pro as the result of a long research process, conducted with the support of Poliestetico di Milano®, which the company calls one of the most important Italian cosmetics academies [4]. The company says the research produced three proprietary technologies.

The first, Multi-Chrome & Micro-Molecular Pigments™, is used in the LUXURY HAIRCOLOR cream. Green Light describes it as a low-alkaline process that allows "pure pigments up to 99,98%" to penetrate the hair while respecting its structure [4].

The second, IPSTiC PATCH HAIR 4™, is short for Interconnected Polymers Technology. According to the company, it was developed and patent-protected through a study by Macrofarm, a spin-off company of the University of Calabria [4]; the patent number and holder are not stated. The technology uses a blend of polyquaternium-10 and keratin to carry extracts of oregano, green tea, chili pepper and organic zinc into the scalp and hair over a longer period. Green Light goes further in its scalp-care claims. It says that, combined with taurine and caffeine, the blend supports hair-growth and anti-hair-loss treatments by inhibiting the 5-α-reductase enzyme [4]. The company does not state that these effects have been clinically tested. A Spanish distributor names the scalp line built on this technology as Relive, describing seven scalp formulas supported by drops and a lotion for use in salon routines [9].

The third technology, MMR or Micro Mirror Reflex, is used in the brand's coloured masks. The company says it seals the hair cuticle so that light is reflected more directly, giving glossier colour.

## Current status

Green Light is an active brand. As of September 2026, its website was live and presented current ranges in colour, care, treatments, professional systems and styling, and the parent holding's corporate site listed LUXURY HAIR PRO among its current Professionhair brands. The site is published in English and Italian, and the line is carried by distributors outside Italy, including in Spain. No dated product launches or news announcements are publicly documented.
