Omnia Profumi is an Italian niche fragrance house based in Pavia. It was founded in 2009 by Fabrizio Tagliacarne, a jewellery maker from a family long active in jewellery and gemmology, who composes all of the brand's perfumes himself [2]. Its organising idea comes straight from that background: every fragrance is paired with a gemstone or a metal, and the range is presented as a kind of jewellery collection made of scent.

The brand is small and founder-led. Its perfumes are grouped into a Stones collection and a Metals collection, and the company names Madera, a caramel-and-vanilla gourmand, as its best-selling fragrance. The trademark belongs to Omnia Luxury Trade S.r.l., a Pavia company that also acts as the brand's exclusive distributor. Omnia Profumi is active.

## Origin & founders

According to the company, the story of Omnia Profumi grew out of a combination of passion and experience in jewellery and gemmology, a trade in which the Tagliacarne family had worked for many years. Fabrizio Tagliacarne, known to his friends as "ICIO", started out creating one-off jewels. His interest in essences led him first to make perfumes as companions to his jewellery; over time, the brand says, perfume absorbed him to the point that he devoted himself entirely to creating fragrances for the niche market, while staying within the world of luxury goods.

The fragrance database Parfumo adds some family detail. It describes Tagliacarne as the son of a jeweller who was strongly influenced by his grandfather, Danilo, and who grew up appreciating precious stones and diamonds [10]. Parfumo also reports that Tagliacarne, as founder and chief executive, speaks of his creations as "liquid jewels" and "sparkling gems on the skin", and that he regards Omnia Profumi as a pure niche brand that deliberately avoids mass production and industrial standards.

Tagliacarne is credited throughout the brand's material as the nose, the composer and the creator of every fragrance in its collections. The company's own profile of him leans on personality rather than technique: it describes an outdoor-sports enthusiast, a keen motorcyclist and, in its words, "a true gentleman rider", and it notes that his own favourite among his creations is Opale, a fragrance it says reflects him "in every note".

The brand's website states that Tagliacarne was born in Pavia and founded the company there, and it gives both its registered office and its showroom as addresses in the city [2]. Parfumo, by contrast, describes Omnia Profumi as "Milan-based" [10]. The brand's own exhibitor text for the Pitti Fragranze trade fair mentions a collection launch in Milan, which may explain the different description. This article follows the company's Pavia address.

The founding year is given as 2009 both by the company and by the brand's exhibitor profiles at Pitti Fragranze [2][8]. Parfumo also lists the brand as active "since 2009", yet its catalogue statistics state that the earliest of the brand's perfumes with a known release year dates from 2004, five years before the stated founding [10]. Parfumo does not present the 2004 figure as a founding date, and no source argues for a founding earlier than 2009.

## Philosophy & positioning

The central idea of Omnia Profumi is autobiographical. The company says each perfume tells of a moment, a period or a fragment of Fabrizio Tagliacarne's life, and that each one has been matched to a stone or a metal, together forming what it calls a Collezione Gioiello, or "jewel collection" [2]. The stones and metals that inspired Tagliacarne at the jeweller's bench, it explains, later became the inspiration for his perfumes. Each creation is dedicated to a moment, a person or a feeling.

That jewellery framing runs through the way the brand describes its own work. On its Metals page, the company compares metals to raw material that skilled goldsmiths shape into a unique piece, and it says its "Metals" fragrances were made the same way, with the craft of an artisan goldsmith, by blending what it describes as precious, natural essences. On the Stones page, it argues that because every stone is unique, the fragrances were designed to stay distinctive even when mixed. It presents layering, wearing two or more of its perfumes together to build a personal blend, as one of the main qualities of the Stones collection.

The brand positions itself at the luxury end of niche perfumery. That is the company's own self-description; Parfumo's account of the founder's rejection of mainstream manufacturing echoes the same positioning from the outside. In its exhibitor profiles the brand presents itself under the heading "Italian niche perfumes & more other luxury".

## Products & innovation

According to the brand's exhibitor text, Omnia began with the Stones collection, which was followed by Metals and then by a "White Stone" range. The White Stone line reworks existing scents in a lighter direction. White Madera, for example, adds a note of anise to give the original Madera a fresher, more summery character. The company has also released fragrances under the name Relazioni Olfattive ("Olfactory Relations").

As of October 2026, Parfumo's catalogue listed 28 perfumes from the brand. Its analysis of the range shows how heavily the house leans on warm, sweet materials: vanilla appears in about 64 percent of the brand's listed fragrances and amber in about 61 percent, followed by sandalwood, patchouli and white musk [10]. Gourmand scents, built around edible-smelling notes such as caramel, milk and cocoa, recur across both main collections.

### Stones

The Stones collection on the brand's website includes Ambra, Madera, Opale, OpaleRosa, Opale di Fuoco, Perla and White Diamante, along with the newer Pietra di Luna.

- **Madera** is, in the company's words, the best seller of the house and a gourmand fragrance "par excellence". It was one of the first fragrances the brand created. Its main note is caramel, paired with vanilla pods, Madagascar vanilla and creamy coconut, over tobacco flower and white musk.
- **Opale** is the founder's own favourite. The company says it was born from memories of childhood summers at his grandparents' seaside house. Its composition joins jasmine, lilac and hawthorn with seaweed, geranium and sage, settling on cedar, patchouli, vanilla and tonka bean.
- **OpaleRosa** draws on a journey to Oman, where, the brand writes, roses bloom during the country's spring festivities. It combines rose and violet with praline, vanilla and oud, a dark, resinous wood note, over cedar and patchouli.
- **Opale di Fuoco** is built around tuberose, with gardenia, neroli, jasmine and ylang-ylang over amber, musk and Indian sandalwood. The company gives its concentration of perfume oil as 25 percent and describes it as "practically an extrait de parfum", the most concentrated common strength of perfume [3].
- **Ambra** pairs citrus and lavender with incense and patchouli, softened by vanilla, labdanum, opoponax and amber.

**Pietra di Luna** ("moonstone") is the fragrance the brand currently features most prominently on its homepage. The company says Tagliacarne created it to capture a moonlit night under a Jamaican sky, with warm sand and a sea breeze. Its notes move from mandarin, bitter orange and orange through banana, coconut, tiaré, tuberose and milk cream to amber, opoponax and Bourbon vanilla. The brand sells it in 15 ml and 100 ml sizes, and Parfumo lists it as part of the Stones collection and as still in production [11].

### Metals

The current Metals collection holds four fragrances, each named for a precious metal.

- **Ororosa** ("rose gold") is inspired, according to the company, by the shades of a sunset fading into night. It mixes bitter orange and Sicilian mandarin with freesia, tobacco and bitter cocoa.
- **Platino** ("platinum") is a soft gourmand that the brand links to the malleability of the metal. It combines caramelised milk cream and coconut with almond milk, jasmine and acacia, finished with vanilla and white musk.
- **Rame** ("copper") centres on salted caramel. The brand says it wanted a gourmand with something new, and that the salty note was its answer.
- **Pomod'oro**, a play on the Italian words for tomato and gold, is the collection's most unusual composition. Tomato, anise and basil open over hyacinth, liquorice and carrot, with Haitian vetiver, oakmoss and patchouli in the base. The company describes it as genderless, with a strongly green character.

Other metal-themed names, among them Bronzo, Ferro and Oro, also appear in Parfumo's listing of the brand's popular perfumes.

No third-party certifications are documented for the brand's products.

## Ownership

Omnia Profumi is a registered trademark owned by Omnia Luxury Trade S.r.l., a company based in Pavia [2]. The brand's website also names Omnia Luxury Trade as the exclusive distributor of Omnia Profumi perfumes. It is the founder's own operating company rather than a larger beauty group, and no acquisitions or changes of ownership are documented.

Fabrizio Tagliacarne also has a separate personal fragrance label under his own name. Its fragrance, ICIO, takes the nickname his grandfather gave him. The brand's exhibitor text describes it as a tribute to that grandfather, gathering the smells the founder associates with him, such as tobacco, vetiver and wood [8].

## Current status

Omnia Profumi is an active brand. Its website presents the Stones and Metals collections and features Pietra di Luna on its homepage, and the brand has continued to exhibit at the Pitti Fragranze trade fair [9]. The company remains led by its founder, who still composes all of its fragrances.
