Overview
Beviro is a Czech men's grooming brand founded in 2016 and based in Prague [7]. It makes natural cosmetics aimed specifically at men, with a core line of beard oils and balms alongside hair, face, shaving, fragrance and body products. The brand is owned and operated by the Czech company P2D2 s.r.o. [3] and remains active, selling through its own webshop and a network of barbershops, salons and perfumeries across several European markets.
The name is a coinage. According to the company, "Beviro" joins English and Esperanto, in which "viro" means "man" — read together as an invitation to "be a man". That framing runs through the brand's positioning: products made by men, for men, built on the idea that grooming and self-care help men feel and perform better.

Origin and founders
Beviro traces its start to 2016, when a founder identified on the brand site only by the first name Patrik, described as a chemist, began producing natural herbal cosmetics for men [7]. The company positions the brand against mass-market grooming, framing it as an alternative for "men who have the courage to live their lives to their full potential" and who want to avoid "generic drugstore brands of cosmetics with shady ingredients lists". Before launch, products were tested by what the company calls "leading Czech barbershops" and its own customers.
Two independent European retailers corroborate the 2016 founding and the Czech origin. The Benelux distributor Intershave describes Beviro as "a Czech brand with the ambitious mission to become a leader in natural cosmetics for men" working on beard and shaving products since 2016 [8]. The Dutch retailer TheAlphaMen similarly dates the brand to 2016 and identifies the founder as a chemist [9].
History and milestones
The brand's first beard oil launched in the summer of 2017. International expansion followed: Beviro entered the Polish market in May 2020, with later distribution reaching Benelux, Romania, Scandinavia and Hungary. By April 2022 its products were stocked in Prague airport duty-free [7].
Ownership
The operating company behind Beviro is P2D2 s.r.o., a Czech limited-liability company registered in Prague [3]. Beviro maintains parallel Czech and English storefronts at beviro.cz and beviro.com.
Philosophy and positioning
Beviro structures its identity around three stated pillars: "By Men, For Men", "For Body and Mind", and "As Natural as Possible". In its manifesto the company argues that "when we look better, we feel better, and we can approach life in a more sophisticated and positive way", and frames its products as ones the makers "use ourselves" and "feel have been missing on the market" [2]. The brand acknowledges a pragmatic limit to its natural ethos, noting that "sometimes a little bit of a completely safe substance not created by nature itself has to help us" reach the functionality it wants. Its tagline describes the line as the "most natural cosmetics for discerning men".
The third-party retailers echo this framing, describing the target customer as a man who appreciates high quality and "won't settle for dubious formulations" [9].
Products and innovation
Beard care is the brand's core. Its beard oils span several scent variants — including Bergamia Wood, Cinnamon Season, Honkatonk Vanilla and Summer Lime — each sold alongside a matching balm, and the range extends to a Natural Beard Booster, Natural Beard Wash, and pear-wood brushes and combs. Beyond beard products, Beviro sells hair, face, shaving, fragrance and body lines.
The signature product is Beard Oil Šumava, named after a Czech forest region, which the company says carries a scent of "pine needles, moss, resin and a satisfying smoky finish" developed over three years. Its formula is built on plant oils — avocado, castor, almond, jojoba and rice — and the company states the oil "contains 95% natural ingredients" and is made in the Czech Republic, which it describes as standard across its products [6].
Sustainability
Beviro emphasises Czech manufacturing and natural sourcing as central commitments, stating that it makes all its products in the Czech Republic and uses "environmentally friendly packaging" [7]. The company also says it transparently discloses the share of natural ingredients in its products. No third-party sustainability certifications were identified.
Current status
Beviro is active. Its e-commerce site is fully operational, with current pricing in euros, and the brand reports multi-channel distribution through barbershops, hairdressing salons, perfumeries, specialised retail and wholesale alongside its own online store [5]. The most recent dated milestone published by the company is the April 2022 placement in Prague airport duty-free; no English-language Wikipedia entry or major editorial press coverage was found, consistent with a small independent men's-grooming brand.
