Drogerex began as a cosmetics distributor and importer and grew into a producer of private-label cosmetics, eventually manufacturing the facial, body and hair lines sold under the Bione name [2]. The brand's corporate history carries a documented wrinkle. While the company consistently dates its founding to 1998 [4], the present legal entity, DROGEREX s.r.o., was registered as a limited liability company only in 2017 [5]. Czech business-registry records treat this 2017 date as the establishment of the current company; the brand and underlying business, however, predate it, the 2017 registration being a re-incorporation rather than the start of the brand.
