Blank& is a Finnish natural-cosmetics brand built around CBD (cannabidiol), spanning facial skincare and intimate care. It is operated by the Helsinki company Blank Oy, which was registered in 2024 [7], while the consumer brand and its first products reached the market in spring 2025 [8]. The company describes its line as "conscious essentials" — natural, Ecocert-certified products meant to feel personal and real. The brand is active, with an online shop, several 2025 product launches, and an industry award the same year.

The name carries a small pronunciation cue: it is meant to be said as "blanket," the idea being that CBD acts as a protective layer that calms the skin. This also accounts for the brand's web address, blanket.eu.

Blank& was founded by a team of four whose backgrounds spanned technology, natural cosmetics, journalism, marketing and the oat-beverage industry. According to the company, what united them was "a drive for change and for doing things better." The founders are Miro Koliseva, Noora Shingler, Fanni Koliseva and Juha-Petteri Kukkonen [2]. The brand's own sources differ on Miro Koliseva's title: the company's story page lists him as Chief Executive Officer [2], while a later product-launch announcement describes him as "COO and founder" [6]; his founder status is consistent across both.

One of the brand's earliest product ideas came from Fanni Koliseva, who, after following discussions about CBD in social-media groups around 2023, proposed creating what the company calls Finland's first lubricant containing CBD. That concept, the company says, "took root, and over time grew into one of Blank&'s very first products."

The company behind the brand, Blank Oy, was registered in Helsinki in 2024 [7]. The first skincare products — the face oils Amio and Evie and the Veya face mist — launched publicly around April 2025, a sequence corroborated by Finnish cosmetics editorial that dated the brand's debut to roughly late April 2025 [8]. It notes that THC content is held to 0.01% or 0%, below the EU's general limit, and that CBD is listed in the EU's CosIng cosmetic-ingredient database. Blank& attributes several skin benefits to CBD — anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, moisturising and sebum-regulating effects — and says the products were designed in collaboration with a Finnish cosmetic chemist specialising in sensitive skin.

Blank& describes sustainability as "the cornerstone" of its operations. The company says all its products are 100% vegan, made without animal-derived ingredients, and manufactured in Finland with at least 50% domestic content [4]. It holds Ecocert Cosmos Natural certification, under which at least 95% of a product's ingredients must be of natural origin [4]. The brand frames hemp cultivation as environmentally beneficial, citing carbon storage, crop-rotation disease suppression and biodiversity support.

In 2025, Blank& won New Brand of the Year at the European Natural Beauty Awards, an honour the company says drew applications from more than 1,000 European brands and was judged by a 100-member international jury [5]. The Finnish cosmetics editorial Kemikaalicocktail also covered the brand around its launch, describing its first three releases [8].
