Summary

Overview

ByNoor is a Scandinavian haircare brand built around vegan formulations and a minimalist Nordic design aesthetic. Its products are made in Sweden [3] and sold mainly through Nordic online beauty retailers, with a range centred on shampoos, conditioners and styling products. The brand describes itself as "a pure Scandinavian and professional haircare brand that delivers beautiful results while being vegan," and works to a tagline of "Scandinavian haircare for that everyday bliss" [2].

The brand remains in active distribution across Sweden, Denmark and Norway, though it keeps a low public profile: its own website at bynoor.com currently returns an error on its landing page, and the brand has not been the subject of major editorial coverage. Several basic facts about the company — its founders, headquarters and ownership — are not publicly documented.

Thinner sourcing. The article relies largely on the brand's own statements (T2–T3). Glowpedia is seeking independent sources.

Origin & market

The earliest documented reference to ByNoor dates to early 2017, when a Danish lifestyle blog reviewed it as "a new series" of haircare, with the products supplied directly by the Nordic retailer Cocopanda [5]. That launch placed ByNoor within a wave of Nordic minimalist vegan haircare lines distributed through Scandinavian online stores. From the outset the range emphasised volume and care for fine hair, and carried sulfate-free, paraben-free and "100% vegan" claims [5].

The question of who owns ByNoor is unsettled. Because the 2017 reviewer received the products directly from Cocopanda, the circumstantial evidence points toward a private-label or Cocopanda-owned brand [5]; however, no source states this outright, and the company behind ByNoor is otherwise undocumented. On the available evidence, its ownership is best described as unknown rather than confirmed.

A separate UK company, BYNOOR LTD, was incorporated in Swindon in November 2025 and registered as a mail-order retailer [6]. It is not connected to the Scandinavian haircare brand, which predates it by roughly eight years and is produced in Sweden; the name overlap is coincidental.

Philosophy & positioning

ByNoor positions itself around what it calls everyday happiness, stating that "everyone deserves a moment of happiness every day" and emphasising continuous product innovation [2]. The presentation leans on a timeless, minimalist Scandinavian design that, according to the brand, appeals to interior and design enthusiasts [1]. Across retailer descriptions the brand is consistently framed as professional-grade, vegan haircare rather than a clinical or actives-led line.

Products & innovation

Haircare is the core of the range, spanning shampoos, conditioners, treatments and styling products, alongside a smaller selection of body care and accessories. Signature items include the Pure Moisture Shampoo, a softening formula for normal to dry hair, and the Pure Moisture Treatment Masque, a deep-conditioning mask for dry and damaged hair. The styling side includes a Hair Oil Treatment combining argan and abyssinian oils [7] and a Sea Salt Spray [8].

The formulas lean on a recurring set of ingredients: argan oil and abyssinian oil for moisture and shine, with panthenol and hydrolyzed wheat protein positioned for strengthening and protection [4]. Products are described as free from sulfates and parabens and as vegan [4]. The treatment mask is additionally described as preserving colour and providing UV protection [4].

Current status

ByNoor is active. Its products remain listed and stocked through Cocopanda in Sweden and Denmark and through BliVakker in Norway, with individual products carrying substantial numbers of customer reviews as of 2026 [2]. At the same time, the brand operates with little direct public presence — the bynoor.com landing page returns an error, and no independent awards or A-tier press coverage are on record — a profile consistent with a small Nordic indie or private-label brand rather than a heavily promoted one.
