Eyracure is a Swedish hair-care brand based in Linköping that develops at-home bond-repair treatments built around a proprietary plant-protein technology called BioLAP-20. The company was founded in 2018 by Ranjithkumar Ravichandran, Petter Sivlér and Mårten Skog, who met during biomedicine studies at Linköping University [8][9]. It operates as a limited company, Eyracure AB, and remains active, selling directly through its own site and through the Nordic retailer Lyko, which holds a minority stake.

Sources disagree on the founding year. Independent editorial coverage and the Swedish business registry both place the company's founding in 2018 [9][12], while the current website carries a "© 2026 Eyracure AB" copyright line [1]. The 2026 date reflects the year of a site refresh rather than the company's establishment; the 2018 incorporation is the corroborated founding year.

Eyracure's signature technology is BioLAP-20, which the company expands as "Bio-Light Activated Plant protein". It is based on a natural soy protein designed to bond with damaged hair and form new links between broken strands. According to retailer and editorial descriptions of the technology, the molecule carries more than 20 bonds — described as four to ten times more than the two most common bond builders on the market — and its low molecular weight lets it reach the cortex and repair hair from the inside out [7].

In September 2022, Lyko acquired a 10 percent minority stake in Eyracure, framed as a strategic investment in Swedish hair-technology innovation [8]. The founders retain ownership of the company, which remained independently run as a small team — three employees according to 2023 filings.
