Overview
Heveblue (stylised HEVEBLUE; Korean 헤브블루) is a South Korean skincare brand founded in 2022 [6] and operated by Cosmento Korea Co., Ltd. [7]. Based in the Gangnam district of Seoul, it makes products aimed at sensitive and acne-prone skin, combining plant-derived ingredients with salmon-derived PDRN. The name comes from the French phrase Rêve Bleu, which editorial sources render as "pure dream" or "blue dream" — a reference to the goal of clear, calm skin.
The brand is a relatively young entrant in the mid-2020s wave of Korean skincare built around PDRN, and it expanded quickly into international markets after launching on Amazon in the United States in 2025. It remains active, with documented promotional activity through at least September 2025.
Origin and founders
Heveblue was created by Oh Min-cho, whose own experience with sensitive and acne-prone skin shaped the brand's focus. According to the YesStyle brand page, that personal history "inspired her to create a brand dedicated to making a difference for others with similar skin concerns." The company frames its purpose around the idea that strong skin need not come at the expense of gentleness.
A note on attribution: the brand's own corporate filings and global website list Dawon Park (박다원) as CEO and do not name a separate founder [2]. Korean and international editorial coverage, by contrast, consistently credits Oh Min-cho as the brand's creator [5]. The two are not contradictory — Park Dawon is identified as the chief executive of the parent company, Cosmento Korea Co., Ltd., while Oh Min-cho is described as the brand's founder.
Ownership
Heveblue is operated by Cosmento Korea Co., Ltd. (㈜코스멘토코리아), based in Seoul [7]. Company materials give the headquarters as Gangnam-gu, Seoul, though the listed street address differs between sources: the global site cites 8F, HS Tower, 703 Seolleung-ro [1], while the Korean site lists 11F, Cheongdam Building, 704 Seolleung-ro [3]. Both are adjacent plots on Seolleung-ro within Gangnam-gu, and the Seoul location is not in dispute.
Philosophy and positioning
The defining element of Heveblue's positioning is ingredient transparency. The company says it discloses the exact concentrations of key ingredients in each product rather than stating only that a formula "contains centella" — showing, for example, how much centella, hyaluronic acid or niacinamide a product holds [6]. In Korean business coverage the brand is described under the slogan "Master of Ingredients for Sensitive Brands" [7].
Heveblue presents its formulas as clinically tested and suited to reactive skin, and states that products are vegan and fragrance-free. The brand combines what it calls superfoods and natural ingredients with biotechnology, most notably salmon PDRN, a DNA-fragment ingredient widely used in Korean skincare of this period. According to the company, products are developed with attention to a low irritation index.
Products and innovation
Heveblue's range spans skincare, body care, makeup and beauty tools. Its most prominent line is the Salmon Caring Centella series, which includes a toner, cleanser, ampoule and cream and is the line most often singled out in K-beauty coverage. The Salmon Caring Centella Cream is described as a moisturiser formulated with centella asiatica leaf water, salmon PDRN and salmon egg extract, intended to calm irritation and support skin elasticity [12]. Other lines include the Penta Berry panthenol repair range, the Milk Rice liposome products, and the Black Yuja Bean line, which includes a skin booster serum.
Hero ingredients cited across the range include salmon PDRN, centella asiatica, panthenol, yuja (a Korean citrus), black bean extract, hyaluronic acid and a proprietary Penta Berry Complex. The brand says its products are dermatologically tested, in many cases in collaboration with the Korea Institute of Dermatological Sciences, and reports very low irritation indices [6].
On sustainability, Heveblue describes its packaging as eco-friendly, citing FSC-certified paper, soy-ink printing on removable labels and recyclable containers. The company also states that products are 100% made in Korea and that many are vegan-certified.
History and milestones
Founded in 2022, Heveblue drew most of its early attention from the Salmon Caring Centella line before expanding abroad. The brand launched on Amazon in the United States around March 2025 and, according to Asia Economy, became the first new seller with under a year of activity to reach the number-one sales position in Amazon's new-seller category [7]. The same report states that during Amazon Prime Day in July 2025 the brand recorded 200 million Korean won in sales in a single week, and that Amazon invited it to take part in "Amazon Beauty in Seoul 2025," where the parent company's CEO spoke about its first-year performance.
Recognition
Coverage of Heveblue has so far been concentrated in Korean business media and K-beauty editorial rather than Western glossy press. Asia Economy (아시아경제) featured the brand in September 2025 in an article on its Amazon ranking [7], and YesStyle published a brand spotlight in July 2025 [14]. The Salmon Caring Centella line has been described as viral across several K-beauty retail and editorial pages.
Current status
Heveblue is an active brand. Its most recent documented activity dates to September 2025, around the Asia Economy feature and its appearance at Amazon Beauty in Seoul 2025 [7]. Distribution is multi-channel: direct-to-consumer through the brand's own site, alongside Amazon, YesStyle, OliveYoung Global and a number of K-beauty retailers in Europe and the Nordic region.
