Ideepharm

Ideepharm is a Polish dermocosmetics company based in Kraków that develops and manufactures pharmacy-oriented skincare, haircare and body-care products. It operates as a multi-brand house, producing several specialist lines under one roof rather than a single named range, and describes itself as an institute staffed by specialists from the dermocosmetics industry. Its products are sold mainly through Polish pharmacies and exported to a number of international markets, including the Nordic countries.

The company's corporate history is closely tied to a sister firm. Ideepharm Sp. z o.o. was registered as a distinct legal entity in 2014 [7], but it shares its address, factory and family ownership with Laboratorium Kosmetyków Naturalnych Farmona, founded in 1997 [8] — so the operating heritage behind the products reaches back further than the Ideepharm name itself.

Ideepharm was established by the Waliczek family — Maria, Małgorzata and Przemysław Waliczek, who serve as the company's partners and board members [7]. The business is registered in Kraków under the full name Instytut Dermokosmetyków Ideepharm Sp. z o.o., a limited-liability company classified in the Polish registry under pharmaceutical production.

Both Ideepharm and Farmona are run by the same family from the same headquarters in Kraków, and share a manufacturing site at Wysoka near Jordanów. The company presents Ideepharm as a holding entity for production as well as a consumer-facing identity that houses its specialist sub-brands.

The roots of the operation lie with Farmona, founded in 1997 as a maker of natural cosmetics [8]. Ideepharm's catalogue is organised into specialist dermocosmetic lines aimed at particular needs. Among the named brands are Radical Med, for hair and scalp care; Jantar Medica, an amber-based haircare range; Nivelazione Skin Therapy, focused on foot care; Idee Derm, a line for face, body and hair; and Pantenol Med, a group of regenerating preparations. The company also produces MYCO help, a range of medical devices intended to support the prevention and relief of fungal infections.

Hair care is a visible focus. The company states that it operates on principles of sustainable development that respect the natural human environment, and that its products are developed through ongoing research and testing. The company's products are sold primarily through Polish pharmacy channels [12]. Ideepharm also states that its cosmetics are available in 35 countries and identifies key export markets including the United States, Spain, Vietnam, the United Kingdom, Bulgaria, Georgia and Romania [4]; the lines are additionally distributed in the Nordic markets.

In 2012, the sister-company Farmona received the President of Poland Economic Award in the category of corporate governance and corporate social responsibility [9]. No awards specific to the Ideepharm entity are recorded in the available sources.
