Summary

Overview

Lashcode is a beauty brand focused narrowly on eyelashes, selling a conditioning mascara and an eyelash serum aimed at fuller, longer lashes. It is a direct-to-consumer brand within the portfolio of TrendMarkt Sp. z o.o., a Polish company registered in Warsaw [7], and is sold through a network of localised online storefronts across Europe and in English for the United States.

The brand sits alongside TrendMarkt's other lash- and brow-care names, including Nanoil and Nanolash, and several retailers list Lashcode products under those sibling brands rather than under the Lashcode name [9].

Ownership

The legal entity behind Lashcode is TrendMarkt Sp. z o.o., based at al. Jana Pawła II 27 in Warsaw and entered in the Polish National Court Register; the company is named as the data controller in the brand's own privacy policy, complete with its KRS, NIP and REGON registration numbers [7]. The same group operates the related beauty brands Nanoil, Nanolash and Nanobrow.

The brand's corporate parentage is presented differently across its own properties. TrendMarkt's corporate site, styled "Trendmarkt Limited," gives the headquarters as the United States [8], while the storefront privacy policy identifies the registered operating company as the Polish Sp. z o.o. in Warsaw [7]. A separate Bulgarian-language storefront on a .bg domain has led to Lashcode occasionally being associated with Bulgaria [1], though that domain is a market storefront rather than an indication of where the company is based.

Products

Lashcode's range centres on two products: the Lashcode Mascara and the Lashcode Eyelash Serum [5]. The mascara is positioned as both make-up and lash care, marketed for length, volume and separation in a single brush stroke, with the brand promising a flawless look for 24 hours without clumping or smudging [3]. The serum is sold as a daily treatment, applied once a day to clean, dry lids at the lash roots using a precision applicator, and is also marketed for eyebrow growth [2].

Both products share a common set of active ingredients, which the company calls its hero ingredients: wheat germ extract, soy germ extract, baicalein, arginine, panthenol and vitamin E, together with a peptide complex in the serum. The brand attributes specific roles to several of these: it describes the soy and wheat germ extracts as nourishing and restoring the lashes, baicalein as a flavonoid with a natural UV-filtering effect, and the peptide complex as encouraging keratin synthesis to strengthen the lash fibres. According to the brand, the formulas are intended to nourish the lashes and encourage growth while remaining gentle enough for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers. Lashcode also describes a mechanism it calls "sorption," which it says allows conditioning ingredients to reach the inner structure of the lash.

The company makes several performance claims for the serum, stating that results are visible after two weeks and citing doubled lash length along with greater volume and density [2]. These are the brand's own claims; the supporting material does not include independent testing.

Philosophy & positioning

Lashcode presents itself as a gentle route to fuller lashes, summarised in its tagline, "Your way to get fabulous lashes and a mesmerizing look" [5]. Its marketing emphasises mildness and safety, describing the formulas as soothing for the lashes and the delicate skin around the eyes, and the brand says its products deliver a "superb effect with every single use."

Current status

Lashcode is active. It operates a live network of localised e-commerce storefronts, including English-language and Bulgarian sites as well as country domains for markets such as Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France, the Netherlands and Belgium, all selling the mascara and the eyelash serum [5]. At least one third-party retailer has marked the Lashcode mascara as no longer available, but that status is specific to the retailer; the brand's own stores continue to sell the products.
