Masca Parfums

Masca Parfums is an Italian niche fragrance house founded in 2024 by the Neapolitan perfumer and entrepreneur Massimo Scalella. The brand name is an acronym formed from parts of its founder's first and last names [2]. It sells eau de parfum directly to consumers through its own website, and remains a small, early-stage operation: as of mid-2026 its Instagram presence numbered only a few dozen followers and posts.

The house made its public debut in 2025, when it presented a collection of six fragrances at ESXENCE, the artistic-perfumery exhibition held in Milan [2].

Masca Parfums was created by Massimo Scalella, who has worked in perfumery since 1985. About You..., a floral-musk built on pear, blackcurrant leaf and sandalwood, and the spicy woodsy-fougère Canone Inverso were both composed by Luca Maffei. Supreme Blend, a violet-leaf and sandalwood scent, was created by Sébastien Cresp. Lorenzo Berti contributed the caramel-amber Perfect Crime and the earthy, beetroot-led Dark Room, while Paolo Cerizza developed the aquatic Aroma Profundo.

The fragrances are sold in eau de parfum concentration, in 100 ml bottles, through the brand's official website [2].

Masca Parfums describes its work as "profumeria d'Autore" — signature, or author-led, perfumery. In its own words, the company commits to offering creative and original perfumery in which every raw material is the protagonist, "worked and shaped by perfumer artists in an absolutely free manner," blending craftsmanship with modern technology [1].
