Overview
Nip + Fab is a British skincare and bodycare brand founded in London in 2010 [5]. It was created by entrepreneur Maria Hatzistefanis as the more accessible, mass-market sister to her earlier luxury line Rodial, with the stated aim of bringing ingredient-led, results-driven formulations to the high street at a lower price point. The two brands operate together under the founder-owned Rodial Group and remain privately held, with no outside investment.
The brand built its early reputation on acid-based skincare, particularly its Glycolic Fix range, and gained wider visibility in 2015 through a brand-ambassador partnership with Kylie Jenner [11]. It remains active, selling through UK high-street retailers, international stockists and direct-to-consumer channels.

Origin and founders
Nip + Fab was launched by Maria Hatzistefanis, a Greek-born entrepreneur who began her career as a beauty writer for Seventeen magazine before taking an MBA at Columbia Business School and moving to London to work in finance at Salomon Brothers [6]. She was dismissed from that banking role in 1999, a turning point she later described in her autobiography How To Be An Overnight Success. Drawing on personal savings of around £20,000, she founded the luxury skincare brand Rodial that same year.
Rodial established itself through unconventional ingredients such as bee venom and snake-derived peptides, building a celebrity following. A decade later, in 2010, Hatzistefanis launched Nip + Fab to apply that formulation experience to a mass-market tier [8]. According to the company, the idea was to make "complex results-driven formulations" available "to the high street, at an accessible price point" rather than keeping advanced skincare confined to premium channels. The brand debuted exclusively at the UK pharmacy chain Boots and targeted a younger, Generation-Z audience.
History and milestones
The brand's first signature line, Glycolic Fix, arrived in 2012 and positioned Nip + Fab among the early names bringing glycolic acid to mass-market retail at a time when ingredient-led skincare was still uncommon. The Glycolic Fix Night Pads became its defining product.
In 2015, the brand partnered with Kylie Jenner, then aged 17, who was named global brand ambassador [11]. The relationship began organically after Jenner posted Nip + Fab products on Instagram; she was formally announced at an event at the W Hollywood in December that year, holding the Glycolic Fix Night Pads Extreme. The partnership, which paired the Glycolic Fix Pads with the Dragon's Blood Fix Serum, gave the brand significant international exposure, especially in the United States — and notably preceded the launch of Jenner's own Kylie Cosmetics.
In November 2019, Hatzistefanis publicly explored selling a majority stake in Nip + Fab, appointing the advisory firm Baylor Klein to identify a partner, on the view that further capital and a new management structure were needed to reach the brand's potential [9]. No deal was completed, and Nip + Fab remained founder-owned [7]. During the 2020 pandemic period the brand added an SPF range and routine kits, and the company says it has not raised the recommended retail prices of existing products since that year.
Later launches included Hyaluronic Fix Extreme4 in 2022, which the brand marketed as a world-first multi-molecular hydration formula, and the Peptide Fix range in 2024, described by the company as its fastest-selling product in a decade. In 2025 it introduced the Peptide Fix Tone & Top Up Mist SPF50, presented as a world-first combination of peptides and SPF.
Ownership
Nip + Fab is wholly owned by Maria Hatzistefanis and sits alongside Rodial within what is informally called the Rodial Group. Both are separate UK-registered companies — Nip and Fab Limited (company number 07147814) and Rodial Ltd — sharing the same London registered office and directors, including Hatzistefanis's father, Efstratios Hatzistefanis [5]. The group has taken no external funding; Hatzistefanis has said that staying independent "allowed us to build two brands on our own terms" [7].
The combined revenue of the two brands has been reported differently across sources and time. Fortune, writing in September 2024, put combined annual revenue at $32 million [6]. BeautyMatter, in 2026, reported $47.9 million for the financial year ending 31 March 2026, a 31% year-on-year increase, with Nip + Fab's direct-to-consumer channels reaching 40% of its sales [7]. Neither figure is broken out at the individual-brand level.
Philosophy and positioning
Within the group, Rodial and Nip + Fab are deliberately kept apart: Rodial occupies the luxury, prestige tier, while Nip + Fab is positioned around accessibility and instant results at what the company calls a democratic price point. The brand's stated approach prioritises formulation over packaging or marketing spend, and it presents itself as offering value for money rather than being the cheapest option, aimed at informed shoppers who care about ingredients. Its original mission was to provide high-street access to skincare formulations and to give customers ingredient knowledge.
Products and innovation
Nip + Fab markets itself as advanced, multi-ingredient skincare and bodycare. Its ranges are organised around active ingredients including glycolic acid, salicylic acid, hyaluronic acid, retinol, vitamin C, niacinamide, peptides and ceramides. The product line draws on research knowledge transferred from sister brand Rodial.
Several products have become central to the brand. The Glycolic Fix Night Pads Extreme has been its core hero product since the Glycolic Fix range launched, and was boosted further by the 2015 Jenner campaign. The Dragon's Blood Fix Serum — part of a Dragon's Blood franchise shared with Rodial — was described as the company's best-selling range [10]. More recently, the Peptide Fix line became the brand's fastest seller in ten years.
On sustainability, the company states that all its products are cruelty-free, vegan and not tested on animals, and that all products launched since 2022 are fragrance-free. It also says it has been awarded carbon-neutral business status through investment in emission-reduction projects such as renewable energy, biogas and reforestation, and has moved its bestselling pads to a biodegradable substrate and its moisturiser jars to recyclable glass. The company acknowledges that its pump serum bottles are not fully recyclable and names this as a remaining target.
Distribution
Nip + Fab sells through a mix of high-street retail and direct-to-consumer channels. Boots remains its primary retailer in the United Kingdom, and distribution has expanded internationally, including through around 2,000 Rossmann stores in Germany [6]. Across the wider Rodial Group, the founder has cited a presence of more than 10,000 stores across 35 countries [12]. Direct online sales have grown in importance for Nip + Fab, rising to 40% of its sales by the 2026 financial year.
Current status
Nip + Fab is an active brand. It continued to launch new products through 2025 and, as part of the Rodial Group, reported revenue growth in the financial year ending March 2026. Ownership has remained with founder Maria Hatzistefanis throughout, despite the unrealised 2019 effort to bring in a majority investor.
