Summary

Overview

Revitalon is a Czech nutricosmetic brand that sells ingestible hair- and skin-care supplements in capsule and powder form. It is one of the long-standing brands of VITAR, s.r.o., a family-owned food-supplement manufacturer based in the Czech Republic [1]. Rather than topical creams or serums, Revitalon's approach is to support hair and skin "from inside" through dietary supplements, and its lead product describes itself as a "complex programme for beautiful and strong hair in the form of capsules."

The brand remains active. Its Marine Collagen drink is flagged as a new product on the VITAR site, and its main capsule product is stocked by several independent Czech and Slovak retailers, with distribution also reaching Nordic markets. Revitalon has no separate corporate website, Wikipedia entry or independent editorial coverage; the available information comes from its pages on the parent company's site and from retailer listings.

Ownership

Revitalon is owned by VITAR, s.r.o., which describes it as "one of the traditional brands of the Czech company VITAR" [1]. VITAR was founded on 28 September 1990 by Vladimír Polášek and Jana Polášková and manufactures and distributes food supplements across categories including immunity, children's health, cognitive function and hydration [5]. The company reports around 200 employees and operates both as a branded manufacturer and as a private-label producer for international clients. Its portfolio includes Maxi Vita, Revital, Energit and Predator, alongside Revitalon [2]. VITAR does not publish a specific launch year for Revitalon, describing it only as one of its established brands; the parent company's own first product, launched in 1990, was a separate effervescent line called Revital Multi [5].

Products

Revitalon centres on two products. Revitalon Forte is a hair supplement sold as capsules; according to the company it "nourishes the hair from inside and directly from the roots" and contributes to hair growth, structure and strength [3]. VITAR states that the formula contains 18 active ingredients, among them the amino acids L-methionine and L-cysteine, biotin, zinc, selenium, copper, and plant extracts from golden millet, wheat germ, nettle and field horsetail. The company attributes to it benefits such as supporting keratin formation and helping maintain hair colour.

The second product, Revitalon Marine Collagen, is a powdered drink positioned "for elastic and healthy glowing skin." Each sachet supplies 4,000 mg of hydrolysed marine collagen along with vitamin C, biotin, zinc and selenium, and the company says it supports skin elasticity and offers antioxidant protection associated with ageing [4]. Both products are sold as food supplements rather than cosmetics, and neither product page carries vegan, gluten-free or cruelty-free claims.

Philosophy & positioning

Revitalon does not publish a separate mission of its own; its positioning is expressed at product level around hair and skin health, and it inherits the outlook of its parent. VITAR frames its purpose with the statement "We help people lead healthier life," describing itself as a family company that promotes disease prevention and healthy-lifestyle trends [8]. Within that framing, Revitalon occupies the nutricosmetic niche — beauty benefits delivered through ingestible supplements taken daily after meals.

Manufacturing & certifications

All VITAR production takes place in the Czech Republic [2], and the sources place the company's manufacturing base in the Tišnov region, with an administrative centre in Zlín. As a food-supplement maker, VITAR holds food-safety rather than cosmetics certifications, and its sources differ on the exact list. The company's dedicated certification page names HACCP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000 and IFS Food [6], while its general company overview instead lists HACCP, BRC and IFS [2]; the more specific certification page does not mention BRC. VITAR also states that it minimises environmental impact through recyclable materials and waste reduction, though no sustainability commitments specific to Revitalon are published [8].

Current status

Revitalon is an active brand. On the VITAR site the Marine Collagen drink is marked as new, and Revitalon Forte is listed in stock by independent retailers in the Czech and Slovak markets in larger pack sizes than the pack shown on the brand page [1]. Its reach is primarily Central and Eastern European, with additional distribution into Nordic markets through retailer feeds. VITAR reports exports to European, Asian and American markets overall [2]. Revitalon maintains no dedicated social-media presence separate from its parent company.
