Overview
Skintegra is a Croatian skincare brand that launched in June 2017 [1]. It is owned by Creaticon d.o.o., a family-owned company founded in Croatia in 2014 that also runs the younger sister brand Skinlick [1]. Skintegra positions itself as science-based skincare for sensitive and reactive skin, with formulations built around clinically studied active ingredients and support for the skin barrier.
The brand is actively trading, selling directly to consumers online and through pharmacies and professional beauty retailers. According to one retailer editorial, its products reach around 17 European countries, including Sweden [6].
Origin & founders
Skintegra grew out of a personal need. The company says its CEO, Jelena, struggled with her own rosacea and sensitive skin and could not find suitable products on the market. A Swiss retailer editorial names the founder as Jelena Skendžić and describes the brand as co-founded, though the brand's own pages give only her first name and do not name any additional co-founders [6][1]. The line began with three initial products and, according to the company, has grown to more than 25.
The brand describes itself as "100% Croatian": all laboratory development, product design and industrial production take place in Croatia.
Ownership
Skintegra operates under Creaticon d.o.o., described by the company as "a small but fast-growing Croatian family-owned company" [1]. Creaticon was founded in 2014, three years before the Skintegra brand itself launched in 2017 [1]. In late 2022 Creaticon added a second brand, Skinlick, positioned as a simpler "younger sister" line for everyday use.
Philosophy & positioning
Skintegra frames its approach as "smart, science-based skincare for every day" [2]. The emphasis is on clinically proven formulations for problematic skin — acne, rosacea, sensitivity, hyperpigmentation and premature ageing — while avoiding ingredients the brand considers irritating. Its products are described as perfume-free, free of harsh surfactants and dermatologically tested. The disruptifbeauty.ch guide states that Skintegra excludes denatured alcohol, parabens, synthetic dyes, perfumes and essential oils [6].
The brand's routine guidance stresses a cautious, barrier-first method. It advocates a "low & slow" rule — starting active ingredients at lower concentrations, two to three times a week, then increasing frequency — and pairing actives with barrier-supporting hydration to reduce irritation. The company frames its values around a scientific approach, direct customer consulting and consistent quality.
Products & innovation
Skintegra's range centres on facial creams, serums, masks and cleansers. Recurring hero ingredients include niacinamide, salicylic acid, glycolic acid, retinal, vitamin C, hyaluronic acid and resveratrol.
Products noted across the brand's own pages and third-party reviews include Amphibian, a mild gel cleanser; CICA-CERA, a treatment cream with ceramides and a CICA complex; and Retiron 0.05, described as a gentle retinal serum [6]. In a review on the beauty blog Tixi Beauty, the writer singled out the Atomic oil-based cleanser as "the best oil-based cleanser" they had used and called the Sphynx eye cream "the first eye cream I wholeheartedly recommend to everybody" [7].
According to the company, all Skintegra products are formulated to be 100% vegan and cruelty-free [1]. No third-party ethical certifications are stated.
Sustainability & manufacturing
Manufacturing is kept local to Croatia. In late 2023 Creaticon opened its own production facility, which the company values at over three million euros and describes as running to Good Manufacturing Practice standards [1]. The disruptifbeauty.ch guide describes the site as an ISO 22716 GMP-certified facility with an in-house research and development lab [6].
The company reports recyclable packaging produced using 50% post-consumer recycled material, participation in EU projects on sustainable cosmetics packaging, and donations to women's safe houses and animal shelters.
Recognition & press
Coverage of Skintegra has come mainly from beauty blogs and retailer editorials rather than major press. Tixi Beauty described the brand in 2024 as "the true Croatian jewel" with "one of the best price vs. performance ratios in general" [7]. The Swiss retailer Disruptif Beauty published a "101 Guide to Skintegra" presenting it as dermatologically advanced, science-based skincare for sensitive skin [6].
Current status
Skintegra is active. Its e-commerce site was live with a rotating "Product of Month" feature and a current-year copyright notice from Creaticon d.o.o. [2], and the brand trades across multiple European markets alongside its 2023 production facility.
