Soap for Globe is a Polish personal-care brand that makes solid, plastic-free bars for hair and body care. It trades through the limited-liability company For Globe sp. z o.o., registered in Warsaw [5], and sells shampoo bars, conditioner bars, soaps and body butters as an alternative to cosmetics packaged in plastic. The company presents the solid format as a way to cut both plastic and water use without giving up performance.

The brand was co-founded by Anna Komierowska-Szweycer and Aleksandra Klaman, both of whom came from senior roles in the luxury and beauty sectors: Komierowska-Szweycer spent more than ten years in PR for L'Oréal- and LVMH-owned brands, while Klaman managed the Polish branch of Moët Hennessy [6]. A precise founding year is not publicly documented; the brand launched during the pandemic and was covered as a recent arrival in Polish trade press in January 2022 [6].

The bars are handmade in Poland [6]. According to the company, the idea grew out of watching the cosmetics market fill with more and more plastic-packaged products. Komierowska-Szweycer has said her aim was not simply an attractive shampoo bar but the best one she could make, and the founders spent roughly two years developing the formulas before launch. Both are described as bringing long corporate careers in the beauty and drinks industries to a small, founder-led venture.

Soap for Globe frames itself as an environmental alternative to conventionally packaged cosmetics, a stance captured in its tagline, "the essence of care for hair, skin and the environment." The company emphasises four themes: removing plastic, keeping quality high, using natural ingredients, and making formulas that are safe and dermatologically tested. Rather than treating sustainability and effectiveness as opposites, it describes its bars as both climate-conscious and high-performing.

The range centres on solid bars grouped into hair care, body care, accessories and sets. Hair products include shampoo and conditioner bars, the latter offered in several varieties, which Polish trade press described as an industry innovation [6]. Body products include soap bars, facial and intimate-hygiene soaps, and body butters, alongside accessories such as bath bombs and lip butters. Named products include the LONG&SHINY shampoo bar for long hair, the PLANET two-in-one shampoo and body-wash bar, the RICH soap bar for dry skin and the STRONG & FRESH shampoo bar for men.

The company says its formulas draw on ingredients used by hairdressing professionals, among them shea butter, raspberry seed oil, ginsenosides and proteoglycans [3]. It describes the products as dermatologically tested and reports that the formulas took more than two years and 22 attempts to perfect [2]. The bars are marketed as long-lasting, with each said to give about 60 uses [3].

Sustainability sits at the centre of the brand's positioning. Soap for Globe states that a single shampoo bar replaces one plastic bottle and saves up to two litres of water [3]. The products are presented as vegan and cruelty-free; the company says it does not test on animals, use animal-tested ingredients, or include animal-derived substances [1]. Packaging is made from recycled paper and carries an FSC certificate, and the brand describes it as biodegradable [4].

Soap for Globe remains active. Its online store is live, carries a full catalogue and offers a subscription service, and the site shows a 2026 copyright. Beyond its own storefront, the bars are sold through third-party retailers; early coverage named smaller stockists such as Petite Maison, Slow Glow and GaliLu [6], and the range has since been listed by Polish retail chains including Douglas and Hebe. The Shopify-based store offers Polish, English and German language options.
