Overview
SoKind is a Danish skincare brand that launched in August 2020, built around natural ingredients and Nordic principles [1]. It makes pure, fragrance-free products for women, expecting mothers and babies, and holds the Danish-created AllergyCertified label across its range. The brand sells directly online and through retailers in roughly 25 markets across Europe, the Americas, Asia and Oceania.
The company positions itself against what it calls a flawed market for safe skincare aimed at mothers and infants, and it frames its formulas around purity, gentleness and sustainability.

Origin & founders
SoKind describes itself as more than a product line — "a community, a blog universe, and a collection of dedicated retailers" — built to bring Nordic skincare routines to a wider audience. According to the company, its aim from the start has been to develop effective, natural products for women and babies while keeping the environment in mind.
The people behind the brand are documented only in third-party sources, and those sources name different individuals in different roles. An October 2024 editorial by Mintoiro describes SoKind as "a Danish beauty brand founded by Katrine Kläning" [9]. A separate case study by the Danish design agency Neighbors identifies Marie Louise Fabrin as the brand's CEO, brand ambassador and "mother of 3" [10]. These are distinct roles rather than a contradiction, but each rests on a single source; the brand's own English-language site does not name a founder.
Philosophy & positioning
SoKind's stated mission is "to create new standards for mom and baby skincare — so kind, so pure, so natural, and always with the environment in mind" [3]. The company says it works with simple formulas and natural, where possible Nordic, ingredients, and that it wants pure skincare to be easy and accessible for parents day to day.
A defining element of the brand's approach is its stance on scent. Its products are described as intentionally "not only perfume-free but also fragrance-free," on the reasoning that "babies should smell like babies and not like products containing fragrance or perfume." The range is also stated to be vegan and formulated and produced in Denmark. Independent retailer Smallable describes SoKind as "a Danish label of hypoallergenic skincare for babies and (expecting) mothers," formulated for sensitive skin [8].
Products & innovation
The brand's catalogue spans women's haircare, women's skincare and baby skincare, with a focus on pregnancy- and nursing-safe products. Featured items include the Love Lines stretch mark balm, the Stretch Mark Kit and a Hair Growth Set. Named ingredients include Regestril, marketed for stretch marks, along with vitamin E, natural oat and Nordic cotton.
SoKind carries the AllergyCertified label, which the company describes as "an internationally known allergy label, created in Denmark," used by shoppers who want to avoid skin allergies [4]. The brand also states that its products received the top "Flask-A" rating from the Danish Consumer Council's chemical assessment, meaning no problematic chemicals were found in their content declarations.
Sustainability
SoKind emphasises packaging and material choices as part of its positioning. The company states that its boxes are made from "eco friendly FSC-certified boards that are 100% biodegradable," and that its bottles use "endlessly recyclable glass, recyclable PET, and biodegradable bioplastic extracted from renewable and sustainably farmed sugarcane" [7]. Sustainability and environmental concern are listed among the brand's core values.
