Uoga Uoga is a Lithuanian natural and organic cosmetics company based in Vilnius. It was founded in 2010 by Lena Sokolovska and Jovita Vyšniauskienė, who set out to make certified organic products at a time, as the company puts it, "way before natural became fashionable" [1][6]. The name means "Berry Berry" in Lithuanian, a nod to the berry face masks the founders first experimented with. The brand remains active, selling a full range through its own webshop and European retailers.

The company positions itself around genuinely natural formulation rather than vague "clean" marketing, and it holds COSMOS Natural and COSMOS Organic certification [1]. Its products are handmade in Vilnius and span mineral makeup, facial skincare, hair care and body care.

Uoga Uoga grew out of a homemade approach to cosmetics. According to editorial coverage, it began with "a freshly picked berry from Jovita Vyšniauskienė's family farm in Lithuania," after the two founders grew tired of how expensive organic cosmetics were and decided to formulate their own, starting with fresh berry face masks [6]. The brand's own about page names 2010 as the starting point and describes an early aim to "create organic products and fill the scarcity on the market" [1].

Co-founder Lena Sokolovska had previously worked as a financial analyst before leaving that career to build the company; she had been making cosmetics for her own use, drawn to organic food and sustainable living, before offering the homemade creations to the public.

The company frames its work around three convictions: that natural should be natural, effective and easy. On the first, it argues for rigorous certification over unspecific claims. On the second, it says its skincare and makeup are enriched with active natural ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, phytosterols, flower acid and beta glucans so that performance holds up against synthetic alternatives. On the third, it aims for products that are quick and simple to use, describing makeup "you can apply with a finger" in about five minutes [1]. Its tagline is "Serious about nature, easy about life."

Uoga Uoga's range covers mineral makeup, including foundations, BB creams, concealers, primers and brushes, alongside facial skincare, hair care, body care and a children's line. Signature ingredients include Baltic amber, berry extracts, Lithuanian honey and a set of active naturals the brand highlights across its formulas.

Its best-known product is the Mineral Foundation Powder with Amber (SPF 15), enriched with amber powder traditionally used in Lithuanian cosmetics. Retailer and editorial copy has described it as a "legendary hit" that evens skin tone without a mask effect [8].

The brand describes its cosmetics as vegan and not tested on animals, with the exception of one lip balm that contains beeswax [1]. Products carry the pan-European COSMOS certification, verified through annual inspection by the Soil Association, and the company states it uses no nanoparticles.

Uoga Uoga also reports a set of environmental measures: it says it has planted 1,562 trees, moved to glass and aluminium packaging, and introduced a refillable powder system, and that it runs an environmental management plan with annual internal audits [2].
