Founder Angelita Della Bella worked as a manager in the aesthetics-equipment sector from 2000; finding that market saturated, she founded Laboratoires BeWell in 2007 in San Marino to produce natural professional cosmetics. The Veg-Up bio-vegan line was later launched at Biofach 2016 in Nuremberg.
