Vlasové hnojivo

Vlasové hnojivo — Czech and Slovak for "hair fertilizer" — is a line of hair-focused dietary supplements and topical products originating in the Czech Republic. It is not an independent company but a product range: it was created by the Czech dietary-supplement maker Maxivitalis s.r.o. and, in August 2016, passed to Simply You Pharmaceuticals a.s. when that company acquired the Maxivitalis portfolio [1]. Simply You, headquartered in Prague, now manufactures and markets the line, which remains actively sold through Czech and Slovak pharmacy channels.

The range centres on the idea, described by its makers, that hair and skin can be nourished from within and cared for from without. It is presented as "a unique range of pharmaceutical preparations on a natural basis for the beauty and health of hair and skin," sold chiefly as an oral supplement alongside a shampoo and a serum.

Vlasové hnojivo began under Maxivitalis s.r.o., a Czech firm that developed, manufactured and sold dietary supplements. In August 2016 Simply You Pharmaceuticals acquired the Maxivitalis product portfolio, including Vlasové hnojivo, and has held the line since [1]. Simply You lists its manufacturing address in the Žižkov district of Prague [2].

The brand's own microsites carry a note of ambiguity about who stands behind them. The footer of vlasovehnojivo.sk credits "Swiss Pharmaceutical Investment" as the legal entity managing and responsible for the site's content, while the same footer block and the parent e-shop identify Simply You Pharmaceuticals as the manufacturing parent [3]. Simply You appears to be the operating parent, with Swiss Pharmaceutical Investment functioning as an affiliated holding or management entity.

Simply You Pharmaceuticals describes itself as one of the larger pharmaceutical companies on the Central European market, reporting more than two decades of operation and an annual output above ten million products. On its parent site the company lists the 2016 acquisition of Maxivitalis among its milestones, alongside earlier and later additions such as Cannaderm hemp care (2014) and its expansion into Poland (2023).

The line is Czech in origin: Maxivitalis was a Czech company, and its manufacturer Simply You is likewise Czech, with a Prague headquarters [4]. The Slovak-language microsite vlasovehnojivo.sk reflects the Slovak sales market rather than the country of origin; a Czech sibling site, vlasovehnojivo.cz, serves the home market.

The core product is an oral supplement, sold in Czech as Výživa, in 60-tablet packs. According to the manufacturer's own e-shop, each tablet combines amino acids and minerals selected for their role in hair: L-methionine and cysteine as keratin building blocks, MSM (methylsulfonylmethane) as a sulfur source, silicon, zinc, pantothenic acid (vitamin B5) and a high dose of biotin. The recommended course runs a minimum of three months.

Two topical products extend the range. The shampoo pairs caffeine with a proprietary complex the company calls Hustoplex, and a leave-on serum is positioned to support growth and limit shedding. The company frames the supplement and the topical products as complementary — nourishment from within and care from without.

Across its pages the brand states that Vlasové hnojivo limits hair loss and supports the growth, density and quality of hair, attributing a "fast and distinctive effect" to what it calls a unique composition. Its Slovak tagline, Husté zloženie, hustý výsledok ("dense composition, dense result"), plays on the same theme. Parent company Simply You states that all its brands are backed by clinical studies on their active ingredients [5], and describes quality controls covering microbiology, heavy metals, stability and skin tolerance.

English-language beauty press has not covered the line, which is a regional Central European pharmacy product. The most substantial independent assessment comes from the Czech review site BioPoradce.cz, which in 2020 rated the supplement 4.4 out of 5 and called it "certainly a suitable and quality solution," while cautioning that users should first identify the underlying cause of their hair loss rather than rely on supplementation alone [6].

Vlasové hnojivo is active. It is owned and sold by Simply You Pharmaceuticals across Czech and Slovak pharmacy channels, with dedicated microsites for both markets carrying current product listings and a 2026 copyright line. A verified customer review dated October 2025 appears on the official Simply You e-shop [2]. A "sale ended" note found on a single 2020 third-party review page reflects that page's stale affiliate listing, not the status of the line itself.
