Overview
William Morris At Home is a British bath, body and home-fragrance brand built on the archive designs of the nineteenth-century English textile designer William Morris (1834–1896). It is operated by the London company Heathcote & Ivory and produced in partnership with the William Morris Gallery, a not-for-profit museum in Walthamstow, London, housed in the designer's childhood home [2][6]. The brand reproduces patterns from the Gallery's archive on hand care, bath and body products and scented home goods, describing itself on its own site as "Luxury Beauty & Lifestyle Accessories".
The brand remains active. New Spring/Summer 2026 stock has been arriving in stores and online, and its products are stocked by UK and Nordic retailers including John Lewis and the Finnish department store Stockmann [11][12].

Origin and partnership
William Morris At Home presents itself as "the authentic William Morris brand in partnership with William Morris Gallery" [2]. The Gallery, which the company says holds the world's largest archive of Morris's designs, gives the brand what it describes as privileged access to that collection to develop its products. The commercial line is made and run by Heathcote & Ivory, whose head-office address and phone number in London match those listed by William Morris At Home [6].
The designs draw on Morris himself, whom Wikipedia describes as an English textile designer, poet, artist, writer and socialist activist associated with the British Arts and Crafts movement [9]. Samantha Enstone, Head of Commercial at the William Morris Gallery, has said the collaboration continues Morris's legacy by blending his patterns with the contemporary [2].
Ownership
The brand is owned and operated by Heathcote & Ivory, a family-run London company that the parent describes as a "forward-looking, quintessentially British beauty company" making bath, body, wellness and lifestyle products. Companies House records list Heathcote & Ivory Limited under company number 03749171, incorporated in April 1999 [10]; the company says it was set up around 2000 and has since grown into a lifestyle maker exporting to more than 35 countries [7]. Alongside William Morris At Home, Heathcote & Ivory operates its own flagship line and a licensed Cath Kidston range [6].
Philosophy and positioning
The brand frames its work around Morris's principle that objects should be, in its own words, "Useful & Beautiful" — purpose-driven and blending joy, beauty and functionality. It organises its outlook under three stated values: "Tradition Renewed", working directly from original archive artworks; "Useful & Beautiful"; and "Sustainable & Thoughtful" [2]. Its welcome page sums up the aim as offering "sustainable and vegan beauty and accessories for the home... designed to enjoy and reuse whilst fitting harmoniously in every home."
Products
Within beauty, the range centres on hand and body care: hand creams, guest soaps, a hand and body wash and body lotions. According to product listings, the hand and body wash is formulated with aloe and hyaluronic acid, while the hand and body lotion is enriched with cocoa butter and shea butter. Signature items include the Strawberry Thief Patchouli and Red Berry Hand Cream and Guest Soaps, named after one of Morris's best-known textile designs, and a Bergamot and Vetiver Body Lotion made with vitamin E, shea butter and a blend of essential oils. The brand also sells scented home goods such as drawer liners, candles and diffusers, which fall outside cosmetics.
Sustainability
Sustainability is a recurring theme, which the brand ties to Morris's own concern for materials and production. According to its sustainability page, its packaging uses post-consumer recycled plastic, recyclable glass bottles, aluminium tubes, vegan leather, FSC-certified paper, RSPO-sourced ingredients and soy- and vegetable-based inks [3]. The company also says it is moving to kraft paper tubes that use 33 percent less plastic. Its products are described as vegan and free from parabens and sulphates, and Heathcote & Ivory states that it does not test on animals.
