Overview
Accendis is an Italian niche perfume house based in Milan, founded by Emy Rodriquens Cesaroni and operated by the company CR STUDIOS srl [5]. The house builds its identity around the idea of light: the brand explains that its name comes from the Latin for "you illuminate" and "you bring out aromas," and describes the line as the result of research into what it calls emotional light [6]. Its fragrances sit in the luxury price band, sold as 100ml eau de parfum from the company's own website.
The brand remains active. It presented work at the Esxence niche-perfumery trade fair in Milan in 2022 and is listed among the houses taking part in Esxence 2026 [13][14], and its e-commerce store carries eleven fragrances.

Origin and founder
Accendis was created by Emy Rodriquens Cesaroni, who was born in Milan and built a career in the fragrance industry before launching her own house. According to the company, she studied foreign languages and worked as an export and brand manager for perfume and cosmetics firms, among them Pierre Cardin, Romeo Gigli, Iceberg and Panama. After a difficult personal period she set out to make her own fragrance, a project she describes as taking roughly eighteen months in collaboration with perfumers and laboratory specialists. Cesaroni frames the venture in personal terms, calling it "my reborn" and noting that the difficulty lay not only in the scents but in the packaging [2].
The creative concept traces back to childhood. Cesaroni recalls afternoons in a grove of plants and flowers with sunlight filtering through, a place she called "the fairy forest," and the house presents the act of turning light into fragrance as its founding idea [2].
The brand's founding year is not stated on its own website and is documented only by third-party sources, which do not fully agree. The fragrance database Fragrantica dates the first releases, Aclus and Accendis 0.1, to 2015 [9], while its "Premier of a New Brand" coverage and the brand's debut at Esxence fall around March 2016 [7]. The 2015 first-release date is the more commonly cited; both figures come from the same third-party source rather than the company itself.
Products and collections
Accendis makes eau de parfum, presented in 100ml bottles with what the house describes as a distinctive lateral-mouth design. Early releases included Aclus and Accendis 0.1, followed by the masculine pair Lucevera and Lucepura in 2017 and the feminine Fiorialux and Luna Dulcius in 2018 [12]. Later additions include Nooria, released as a 100ml eau de parfum in 2021 [11], and Sera. Reported perfumers for the house include Maurizio Cerizza, Céline Ripert and Arturetto Landi [8].
The range is organised into three colour-themed collections: The Blacks, The Whites and The Golds. The company assigns each a symbolic meaning, casting black and white as complementary forces of stillness and purity and gold as a recurring "guiding thread" of warmth and permanence [3]. Editorial coverage has noted the line's Pop Art design approach and its use of traditional Italian ingredients.
Philosophy and positioning
Light is the organising idea across the house. Accendis frames fragrance as the transformation of emotional light into scent, describing light as "the road directed forward... the vehicle of the soul" [6]. A retailer history records the mission in similar terms, as a wish to give others light "in all its many manifestations" [8]. The homepage carries the line "Miracles are dreams that become light." Fragrantica has characterised Accendis as "a young Italian niche perfume brand that has already gained popularity among exquisite fragrance enthusiasts."
Current status
Accendis is an operating Italian niche house. It maintains an active online store, has released fragrances through at least 2021, and continues to appear at the Esxence fair, with its most recent recorded activity being inclusion among the brands listed for the June 2026 edition in Milan [14].
