Overview
Add Some Re-Boost is a line of pigment-rich, toning hair colour masks made by Grazette of Sweden, a Swedish salon-professional company. The line consists of a single product, the Re-Boost Colour Mask Treatment in a 150 ml size, sold in 20 shades. According to the brand, the masks are meant to give hair colour "new life and shine," with results lasting roughly four to ten washes.
The line is not an independent company. It is one of several "Add Some" sub-lines that the Nordic beauty retailer Lyko presents as standalone brand pages, even though the manufacturer shown throughout its listings is Grazette of Sweden. Grazette has been majority-owned by the listed Lyko Group AB since 2021 [5]. Add Some Re-Boost remains actively sold across the Nordic markets through Lyko's consumer site and its professional storefront, Lyko Professional.

Origin and background
Add Some Re-Boost carries no founding year of its own; the heritage belongs to its maker, Grazette of Sweden, which was founded in Gothenburg in 1974 by Hans Algeskog [5][7]. Grazette develops and manufactures beauty products in its own factory in Gothenburg and works across hair care, skin care, beard and styling categories, also taking on contract-manufacturing projects for other beauty brands [7]. The company distributes through retail stores, pharmacies, hair salons and spa facilities.
Lyko surfaces "Add Some Re-Boost" as a distinct brand entry on both its consumer and trade sites, listing it alongside third-party brands rather than only under the Grazette name. The same treatment applies to the sister lines Add Some Colour and Add Some Liquid Gloss, which suggests Lyko positions the "Add Some" ranges as own-label sub-brands within its portfolio.
Ownership
Ownership operates on two levels. Grazette of Sweden is the brand-level maker of Add Some Re-Boost; above it, Lyko Group AB (publ) is the corporate owner. Lyko acquired a 90.05% stake in Grazette of Sweden AB on 2 August 2021, paying 10.3 MSEK upfront with an additional earn-out of up to 40.5 MSEK tied to earnings performance over two and a half years [5]. Trade-press coverage at the time framed the deal as giving Lyko its own manufacturing capacity in Gothenburg [7]. Grazette's founder, Hans Algeskog, continued as the company's chief executive after the acquisition [5].
Products and positioning
The range centres on one product sold in 20 colours, including shades such as Ash, Black, Copper, Rose Gold, Turquoise and Clear. Grazette describes it as a pigmented toning mask that strengthens, modifies or maintains hair colour while adding shine and conditioning the hair; the company notes it is suitable for all hair types and can be mixed with other Re-Boost shades to create custom or muted tones.
The positioning is a subtle refresh rather than a dramatic change. A Lyko editorial review drew the contrast directly, noting that unlike colour masks from Maria Nila or Revlon, Grazette offers "not any mega-changes, but just a bit of new, poppy shine" [6]. The line is presented as a professional ("proffsmärket") product that originated in the salon channel.
Accounts of the active ingredients differ by source. The current product page leads with "advanced pigment technology" and describes the mask as rich in vegetable protein [2]. An earlier Lyko Magazine review instead highlighted vitamin E with antioxidant properties [6]; that claim traces to the editorial coverage rather than the product page, where it was not present on re-check.
Recognition
In a 2021 Lyko Magazine comparison test of colour masks, Add Some Re-Boost received a "Fab Score" of 4.4 out of 5. It was not the test winner; Schwarzkopf Professional's ChromaID took the top placement at 4.9 [6]. The review described the masks as caring and gentle on the hair, suited to someone wanting soft, fine pigments for a moderate boost to their existing colour.
Current status
Add Some Re-Boost is active. At the most recent check, its full collection of 20 shades was being sold on both lyko.com and Lyko Professional, and its parent, Grazette of Sweden, continues to operate under Lyko Group's ownership.
