Overview
Fillerina is a Swiss-Italian dermo-cosmetic skincare brand launched in 2012, built around a needle-free "filler effect" treatment for at-home use [11]. It is produced by Labo, the Italian arm of the Swiss company Labo Cosprophar AG, which trades as Labo Suisse and is headquartered in Basel [11]. The brand's central idea is to deliver hyaluronic acid deep into the skin through a precision applicator, positioning the range as a topical alternative to injectable fillers.
The brand remains active. Labo Suisse maintains a current product catalogue spanning more than twenty Fillerina lines, with distribution across dozens of countries and regional social-media accounts run market by market.

Origins
Fillerina grew out of research at Labo Suisse, a dermo-cosmetic company founded in Basel in 1986. According to the company, it began studying the use of hyaluronic acids in the dermo-cosmetic field from 2007, and in 2012 introduced Fillerina as its first replenishing preparation intended for home use [1]. An earlier Labo product, Botoina, a topical complex of four molecules designed to relax expression lines, was developed in 2005 and is described in editorial coverage as a forerunner to the Fillerina program [11].
The founders of the brand are not publicly disclosed. Into The Gloss, reviewing the product in 2017, described it as the work of a Swiss chemist and noted that its protection rested on "a Swiss patent, actually, which is a hard patent to get because it covers most of the world" [10].
Formulation and technology
Fillerina's signature feature is its use of hyaluronic acids of differing molecular weights, intended to penetrate progressively into different layers of the skin. The formulation has changed over time: at launch in 2012 the product used six hyaluronic acid molecules, as documented in a 2017 Into The Gloss review [10], while the current iteration uses twelve, according to Labo Suisse [1]. Both figures are accurate for their respective periods; the present formulation is marketed as "12HA". Alongside the hyaluronic acids, the brand lists actives including collagen, elastin, polyglutamic acid, DMAE, peptides, inulin and 1,6-Alpha-Linked Maltotriose.
The delivery system is sold under the name Transdermic Technology, which the company describes as a patented method for the controlled deep penetration of active ingredients. Labo Suisse states that three Swiss patents protect the brand's innovations: CH 705 713, CH 711 466 and CH 695 412 [1].
Products
The flagship product is the Fillerina 12HA Densifying-Filler Intensive Treatment, a two-part kit of a replenishing gel and a nourishing film applied with a graduated precision applicator. A higher-strength Biorevitalizing version sits above it, and the wider range extends to day and night creams, targeted treatments for the eyes, lips, cheekbones and neck, and zone-specific kits. The brand has also expanded beyond core skincare into Fillerina Sun Beauty suncare, a cleansing collection, and the Fillerina Long Lasting Make-Up and Fillerina Colour cosmetic lines.
Clinical claims and positioning
Labo Suisse supports the range with a clinical study published in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology in December 2014, a double-blind, placebo-controlled in vivo trial on 40 women [4]. The company reports a reduction in the volume of wrinkles in 95% of subjects tested, with average wrinkle-depth reduction of about 22% at 30 days and measured increases in cheekbone and lip volume [4].
The brand is positioned in the prestige dermo-cosmetic tier and sold primarily through pharmacies, a channel Labo Suisse describes itself as a market leader in. It frames Fillerina as a painless, non-surgical option for consumers who want filler-style results without injections. Editorial press has reinforced this framing: Into The Gloss titled its 2017 review "Fillers, For Broke People", presenting the product as an affordable substitute for Juvèderm injections [10], and HelloGiggles described it as a "non-injectable alternative to Botox" [13].
Ownership
Fillerina operates under Labo International Srl, part of the wider Labo Suisse group controlled by Labo Cosprophar AG [11]. The parent company's portfolio includes several other dermo-cosmetic brands, among them Crescina, Collagenina and OXY-TREAT. Labo Suisse describes itself as a market leader in premium dermo-cosmetic products inspired by aesthetic medicine.
Reach
Labo Suisse distributes Fillerina internationally through exclusive distributors, with pharmacies as the primary retail channel. Sources differ on the exact extent of its footprint: the company's corporate page cites 44 countries [2], while its "Fillerina in the World" page lists more than 50 regions [7]; an older figure of 32 countries appears on the brand's US distributor site. Rather than a single global account, the brand maintains a fragmented social-media presence, with separate Instagram and TikTok handles for individual markets.
Current status
Fillerina is an active brand. Labo Suisse continues to sell a current catalogue of more than twenty Fillerina products with up-to-date pricing, ongoing line extensions such as Sun Beauty and the make-up ranges, and regional accounts that remain in use. The brand has received recent recognition at Hungary's Joy Prix de Beauté awards, where its 12HA Lip Contour Cream took first place in the lip-care category.
