Overview
FILLMED is a French medical-aesthetics company headquartered in Paris, founded in 1978 by Dr. Michel Tordjman, an aesthetic doctor with a background in cellular biology [1]. The company develops injectable bio-revitalising solutions, hyaluronic acid fillers and physician-dispensed cosmeceuticals, all supplied to qualified healthcare professionals rather than sold directly to consumers. Its products are distributed through an international network that the company describes as spanning over 80 countries [2], though its UK site puts the figure at over 50 [3]; both describe a global presence.
The brand stylises its name in all capitals as FILLMED and is the direct descendant of the medical division of Laboratoires Filorga. It was previously known as Filorga Medical before being rebranded [4]. FILLMED and the consumer brand Filorga share the same founder and 1978 origin but operate today as separate companies.

Origin and founders
The company traces its founding to 1978, when Dr. Michel Tordjman developed NCTF (New Cellular Treatment Factor), an injectable solution intended to counter the signs of skin ageing. According to the company, its early range centred on peels, hyaluronic acid injections and bio-revitalising solutions. NCTF remains the formulation most associated with the brand, and FILLMED states that its recipe has been maintained since its introduction.
Ownership
FILLMED's corporate history runs through Laboratoires Filorga, the company founded by Tordjman in 1978. In 2010, the investment group HLD and businessman Didier Tabary jointly took control of Laboratoires Filorga, which then comprised both a consumer-cosmetics arm and a medical arm [6]. The two businesses were separated in 2015, and in 2019 the consumer cosmetics brand Filorga was sold to Colgate-Palmolive; the medical and aesthetic division was retained and rebranded as FILLMED.
The brand's own philosophy page states that FILLMED is part of KRESK group, described as a collective of beauty brands [7]. KRESK is associated with Didier Tabary; the hair-care brand Lazartigue is named among its sister labels. Laboratoires Filorga is therefore the brand's historical parent, while KRESK group is the current owner. Manufacturing of the ART FILLER range is carried out at a facility in Brussels, Belgium.
Philosophy and positioning
FILLMED frames its approach as a "Positive Pro-Ageing" philosophy, which the company says celebrates ageing well rather than masking it [7]. Its stated mission is to "elevate skin health to empower confidence at every stage of life," and it organises its positioning around four pillars it labels science, innovation, education and self-care [7]. The brand's tagline, "Beauty is an art, we made it a science," reflects a positioning at the intersection of aesthetic medicine and laboratory development.
Because its products are intended exclusively for doctors, dermatologists and surgeons, the brand operates on a professional, physician-dispensed model rather than a direct-to-consumer one [1]. It also runs an online training platform for practitioners, branded E-ACADEMY, launched in 2020.
Products and innovation
The brand's portfolio is built around a small number of core lines. NCTF 135 HA is its signature bio-revitalising injectable, the modern version of the original 1978 formulation. The company describes it as containing 60 essential ingredients, including free hyaluronic acid, vitamins, amino acids, co-enzymes, nucleosides, minerals and the antioxidant glutathione [5]. The UK site frames the same composition as 59 active ingredients plus uncross-linked hyaluronic acid [3] — a difference in counting convention rather than formula. FILLMED publishes clinical figures for the product, reporting measures such as a 69% improvement in skin tonicity and a 256% increase in collagen stimulation.
Two further lines round out the range: ART FILLER, a range of hyaluronic acid fillers launched in 2016, and SKIN PERFUSION, a cosmeceutical range introduced in 2013 for use around procedures. The company attributes proprietary technologies to these products, including TRI-HYAL technology in ART FILLER and a penetration system it calls SKIN PERFUSION Science. More recent collagen-induction products, JUVELOOK and LENISNA, are built on PDLLA technology.
Recognition
FILLMED's products have received a number of trade awards. NANOSOFT was named Best Aesthetic Device in 2023, and NCTF 135 HA received a Best Injectable Skin Revitalization Award the same year; ART FILLER won a Best Injectable Product Award in 2022, and the E-ACADEMY platform took two categories at the Medical Education Awards in 2022. The brand's technology has also been the subject of peer-reviewed work: a study titled "Long-Term Performance and Safety of a Superficial HA Filler With Tri-Hyal Technology" was published in the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology in 2024.
Current status
FILLMED is an actively trading global brand. It obtained fresh regulatory certifications under the EU Medical Device Regulation in 2025 — for NCTF 135 HA in February and for the ART FILLER range in October — and continues to publish scientific work and present at industry congresses, with its most recent recorded activity being scientific posters shown at the IFSCC congress in September 2025 [8]. The company marked its 45-year anniversary in 2023.
