Overview
Veoli Botanica is a Polish skincare company based in Warsaw, founded in 2016 by Monika Solorz [2][9]. It makes vegan face, body and hair care that it places in the clean beauty movement, pairing plant extracts with lab-made active ingredients such as lactic acid, tranexamic acid and ectoin. The products are made in Poland, and the company has long aimed for a middle price ground: natural cosmetics of high quality at a price most shoppers can reach.
The brand began as a small natural-cosmetics label at a time when that segment was still a niche in Poland. Over the following decade it widened its range, gathered a run of Polish consumer and industry awards, and in 2025 opened its own research laboratory and appointed an outside general director with a background at multinational beauty groups. It remains active, with new launches announced in October 2026.
Origin & founders
Monika Solorz, described in Polish trade press as the brand's creator and owner, has said she set up the company in 2016, when natural cosmetics were still a niche part of the Polish beauty market [9]. In her account, she saw room for high-quality natural products sold at an accessible price, and she wanted them produced at home, citing her high regard for the capabilities of the Polish cosmetics industry.
Early on, Solorz chose to pack the products in pharmaceutical glass, which she described in 2019 as free of contaminants and recyclable. In the same interview she said the line had originally been aimed at women over 35. Another company representative, Rafał Gulatowski, gave a trade interview in October 2019 under a headline stating the goal of moving Polish women from ordinary cosmetics to natural ones.
The company operates from Al. Stanów Zjednoczonych 61 in Warsaw, as the limited liability company Veoli Botanica Sp. z o.o. [5].
History & milestones
The brand's first years were built around natural formulas and gift-friendly formats. By 2019 the founder was describing a newly created product line and a set of Ritual Boxes, which bundled products with instructions for home spa routines. At that stage the range was sold through the company's own online shop and through online drugstores, while sales in physical stores were being developed.
In 2022 the company introduced a vegan series of three facial products: a retinal cream, a ceramide cream and an antioxidant vitamin C serum [10]. Retinal is a form of vitamin A closely related to retinol. Launches across 2023 and 2024 extended the range into hair and scalp care and into broad-spectrum sun protection.
July 2025 brought two expansions. Polish trade publication Wiadomości Kosmetyczne reported that Veoli Botanica had opened its first research and development laboratory, called LAB by Veoli Botanica [12]. In the same month the company announced that its products would be available in all brick-and-mortar stores of the Polish drugstore chain Hebe and in Hebe's online shop [10]. A monthly round-up in the same publication summed up July 2025 with the line that Veoli Botanica was investing.
In early September 2025, Tomasz Słoniewski became general director of Veoli Botanica and president of the management board of its sister company, OneAnswer [11]. His appointment brought in a manager with about 25 years of commercial experience in pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and consumer goods. From 2019 to 2024 he sat on the management board of Torf Corporation, the company behind the Polish brands Tołpa and WhiteON, where he was responsible for commercial operations and for Tołpa's international expansion, including its entry into Boots stores in the United Kingdom. Before that he spent more than a decade at Procter & Gamble as a sales director and market strategy director, covering Poland and nine Central European countries from Budapest and three Western European countries from Frankfurt. He also worked for two years at L'Oréal as a commercial director, and for more than five years as a strategy consultant, including on mergers and acquisitions.
Ownership
Veoli Botanica is privately held. Monika Solorz was identified as its owner in 2019 [9], and no parent company or acquisition is documented. Trade press refers to OneAnswer as a sister company, not as a parent, and the two now share a senior manager in Tomasz Słoniewski.
Philosophy & positioning
Veoli Botanica calls itself a modern natural brand that combines biotechnology with plant complexes. According to the company, its formulas rely on cosmetic actives with a long track record and on natural raw materials whose effects are supported by laboratory and clinical studies. It says its products stand out for vegan ingredients used at high concentrations of active substances.
The company sums up its mission as holistic and honest care for the skin of the face, body and hair. It names knowledge, safety, quality, transparency and authority as its values, and uses the tagline "Action, without promises. Full transparency." [2]. That emphasis on evidence runs through its descriptions of product development: the company says its formulas were developed by experts on the basis of instrument-based measurements and hundreds of tests.
On price, the founder's stated aim from the start was to offer high-class natural cosmetics at an accessible price, which places the brand between mass-market and premium skincare. Its own online shop offers more than one currency and delivery to around twenty European Union countries, and it advertises free consultations with a cosmetologist to help customers choose products.
Products & innovation
The range covers facial care in depth, with day and night creams, serums, eye products, cleansers, toners, exfoliants, masks and sun protection, alongside body and hair care. The company's website groups products by skin need, from dryness, redness and blemishes to anti-ageing, uneven tone and care during pregnancy. It also groups them by active ingredient, listing among others peptides, ceramides, vitamin C, bakuchiol, retinal, ectoin, matcha, PDRN and senolytics.
The line the company itself highlights most is 20 SECONDS MAGIC EYE TREATMENT, an eye serum it describes as a bestseller. It was later joined by 20 SECONDS MAGIC FACE, a set of face creams that the company says were inspired by the eye product. In October 2026 it announced limited editions of the eye serum, named GLAM and GOLD, fitted with a vibrating applicator [8].
A second visible line is Glass Skin, which takes its name from the trend for very smooth, luminous skin. Its centrepiece is the Glass Skin Power Peel, a brightening gel exfoliant that combines lactic acid at 10%, tranexamic acid at 2.5% and ectoin at 1%. Lactic acid is a mild acid that loosens dead skin cells, tranexamic acid is used against dark spots, and ectoin is a moisture-binding molecule that helps calm the skin. The same line includes a spot cream for blemishes and a face mask. The cleansing range includes CLEAN DUO, a series of two-step cleansing sets for different skin types.
Earlier formulas, as described by the founder in 2019, drew on branded ingredient complexes from specialist suppliers rather than on technology owned by the company. Some current product names, such as the Beautifeye complex in its eye serums and the NG KOMBUCHKA black tea ferment in its face creams, likewise refer to supplier ingredients.
The 2025 laboratory changed how the company describes its testing. According to its laboratory page, it carries out instrument-based and in-use tests, publishes the results on individual product pages and has them confirmed by independent laboratories [6]. The company says the lab prioritises raw materials with proven effects that come from sustainable sources.
Sustainability
Veoli Botanica holds the Viva! Foundation's "Znak V" certificate. As described in Polish trade press, the mark confirms that products contain no animal-derived ingredients, were not tested on animals and did not use such ingredients in production [12]. The company describes its cosmetics as vegan and good for both skin and planet. Its use of recyclable pharmaceutical glass was described as a founding choice in 2019, and current packaging may differ across the range.
Recognition
The company reports a long list of Polish awards. According to the founder in 2019, its body oil, a bestseller at the time, won an Influencer's Top award, and the whole line received a Doskonałość Roku (Excellence of the Year) award from the magazine Twój Styl in the natural and organic face and body care category.
Its Polish website lists further honours from 2023 to 2025 [4]. These include Glammies awards in 2023, 2024 and 2025, Love Cosmetics Awards in each of those years plus a 2024 distinction, Influencer's Top in 2024 and 2025, Influencer's Choice Poland 2024, Diamenty Beauty 2025 and the Beauty Forum Stars Awards 2025 Poland. These awards are listed by the company; independent confirmation of the individual wins is not documented.
Current status
Veoli Botanica is active. Its blog published new posts in October 2026, including one on senolytics in skincare, and it announced the limited GLAM and GOLD editions of its eye serum that same month. It sells through its own online shop and through drugstores, with its retail presence centred on Poland, most visibly through the Hebe chain.
