Orion Pharma supplied the test and placebo creams but did not fund the work, which the authors state received no financial support [7]. The study found the cream was well tolerated with no significant adverse effects, but reported no statistically significant improvement over placebo in disease severity or barrier function. Its authors concluded that the cream "showed good tolerability, but it did not show efficacy in the treatment of mild-to-moderate AD" [7].
